I think this is fantastic and long over due. Freedom is not free. My father is a wwII Vet. What a great generation. Thanks to all the Vets.

What a beautiful memorial, gave me goosebumps when I saw the pics of what it looks like at night.  Wish my grandpa's were alive to see it.

My Dad in Law was a Veteran of that WWII landed on Normandy Beach... We lost him to cancer a few years ago... would have made him proud to see that dedication... the Heavens are a happy place...........

I wish my dad could have lived long enough to see this memorial.  He fought in WWII, landed at Omaha Beach and also fought in Korea.

FUCKENEH!!!

Freedom isn't free.  This is one more reminder of that and of the men and women who fought and died for this country to keep it that way.  It's good to finally see the WWII vets getting their long overdue recognition.

You are right that it's long overdo.  A nice tribute to all those young men living or dead who worked so hard.
