criminals.....

Some time ago...

It was night time as the man drove home and was suddenly boxed in by three other cars. The lead car slammed on the brakes forcing the man to a stop. A punk jumped out of one of the cars, pointed a gun at the man and demaded his wallet. Unfortunately for the punk, the man was an off duty deputy with a 9 mm at his side. Instead of a wallet, Mr. punk got a few 9 mm rounds and a trip to hell. Of course his "friends" took off and left him to die. Turned out he was a 15 year old driving a stolen car and was armed with a BB pistol.

Recently....

A woman, driving alone on I 95, was pulled over by a car wiith flashing blue lights as she exited the interstate. A guy got out of the intercepting car and flashed a badge that was hung around his neck. Unfortunately for the boy scout imposter, the wpman was an undercover cop in an unmarked car and her partner was right behind her. Mr boy scout is in the Palm Beach County "hotel" pending charges.

Yeah,

police in my home town were called to investigate a burglarly - the family had been out of town for the weekend, and returned to find their video camera, TV, gun cabinet, liquor cabinet and jewelry missing. Police found the burglars by following tracks through fresh snow to the house next door.

Another one: A man was standing trial for robbery. A witness for the prosecution was asked "Did you see the person who robbed the bank?" and replied "Yes, sir, I did." The prosecutor followed up with "Is that person in the courtroom now?" to which the witness replied affirmatively. "Can you point that person out to the court?" The witness turned to the defendant, pointed, and said "he was the gunman." The defendant jumped up in a rage and yelled "You couldn't have seen me, I was wearing a mask!" Case closed. The robber's sister worked for the US Postal Service on my campus. When she was arrested in response to all the missing mail, she did federal time.
