I'm not sure he tried or wanted to hide.  Once you delete a profile, it can't be reused.

On the other hand, Scott knows he is manic and in the worst part of the cycle now.  That doesn't mean he can stop himself from posting while in this mode, and the results are predictable.  People know this and might (might) be holding Scott more accountable for his outbursts than may be realistic.  He's admitted being manic, admitted being in a bad place right now, and I think we are seeing the postings of a person in that state.  Maybe give him a break?  I know the comments about fat chicks and everything else are tough to swallow, but I'm just trying to offer a different perspective.

Personally, I think if Scott knows he is manic right now, he should try like hell to use extreme caution while posting.

but I dont think he CAN help it.  

He also said he was messing around with his meds.... wonder if he's taking what he's supposed to.  Or if he's taking anything.   Something's definately wrong ... hope he's alright.

I bet he read that whole 12 page thread and thought it was about him.............  

(even tho it WAS his thread - LOL - it got a little hijacked....)

The thing about this place is that we welcome people back all the time and quickly. It's not at all unusual.

Right on, Charlie.  I don't think anyone really wants him to leave forever.  Anyone who suffers from ch needs someplace to go where he can get vent and bitch and get a little help through the bad times.

He prolly should see a doc or get back on his meds or whatever it takes to get back on an even keel.  AND stay out of controversial topics if he can't stand people with contrasting viewpoints.

hehe I've only been here since Sept 2003 - And I have seen many people leave in anger only to return a bit more laid back...

Hell there was a time when I thought "OK that is it... I will NEVER come to CH.com again."  (hehe and this had absolutly nothing to do with Jonny, I was actually on jonny's side  :P)  But sure enough the next day I felt the need to ask a question as CH was very new to me and the only place that I had was here. So I came back. Even got an apology from the person who roasted me the day before and life is great.  errr.. Well as great as I can be with CH.
