I spent Friday night in the hospital again, with SEVERE and mean SEVERE double vision.

I had 3 kids in my car going to school. I pull off to what I HOPED was the side of the road and called a friend to come rescue us.

The double vision was complete and total double. Not blurred together, but a case of Ok, do I pick the left hand car to pass, or the right hand car - or do I just go through the middle? hehe

Won't tell me anything about MRI/MRA but I am off to the docs who will tell me. I'm sure there won't be anything just like always.

But I'm going to ask for all you support. They are doing everything they can do to rule out a stroke right now it being something else..

Will apdate ya when I get bac from the Docs.

Thanks so much everyone. The shamrock was GREAT.
Just don't tell me scottish heritage :p

Further update, well that's a tough one, I have an indication of what's going, I see a neuro surgeon tommorw at 3. All I know is the suddenly MRI/MRA aren't nomral anymore.

At this point I"ll stay positive and trust that the MRI machine was having PMS day :)

Will keep you post........worse case scenario...I won't type it

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. You were so supportive when I was in Dallas with Renee when she was having such a rough time. Your phone calls meant so very much to me and to Renee, also.

Ya know, life can be very frustrating. More than that, doctors can be worse. They can put you on a roller coaster ride taller than any that you'll find at six flags.

Hi guys,

Well I did not have a stroke - that's the good news.

The bad news is that I may have had a TIA but because it was so long from the time it happened to when they did the pictures, they may not see it. They did find some funky cyst thinging in there though, but they told me it didn't matter much.

The really bad part, is there no explanation as to why I woke up one day and the world was double, everything thing in it, there were 2. Then I started blacking out - walking along minding my own business and wham, on the floor I go. Got a brand new set of eye glasses and contacts April 10, 20/15 vision with them on(until the "event"...now this is the real kicker, I can't see with them on now. I'm near sited so the glasses work for far away things still, but I can't read any fine print at all, with or without my glasses.

I still have blurred vision, I still have confusion and severe short term memory loss. And the memories that I've lost I seem to be filling in with memories of things that never happened.

I have no idea what is going on, but everything in me is screaming DANGER DANGER WILL ROBINSON, and no one is listening.

Thanks to all my cluster brothers and sisters for your care and concern, I love you all dearly, and I'll never be able to repay the kindness and love you shown me. There are 3 different songs I keep listening to:

Just a thought: I had one day of double vision a few years ago. Next morining it was gone... Whew. I'm wondering if it isn't like vertigo? Just about everyone has a bout with that. I hope so anyway.
