Title: Re: clusters and chemo Post by Svenn on May 8th, 2004, 6:26pm Hi there As far as i know there is 2 major things with cluster PAIN and a lot of IF`s and maybe`s Here in Norway i have some 30 clusterheads on my memberlisst here. From those 30+ members there are around 20 that was diagnosed back in the late 86/87. We have always asked ourself if this "outbreak"of cluster here can have something with the downfall-area for the Tjernobyl reactor disaster in 86. A lot of places in the south, east middle of Norway was in the area from that downfall-shit Seems that those that suppose to know eather cant or wont give us any answer on that ? Another thing you should remember is that the human body have this strange and irrasionell way to react to chemical`s what so ever so its just plain impossible to give you an answer that you can relate too. Im so sorry that i can`t give you any help here ,but i`m so glad you found us.You are among the best of friends here that are trying to help you in any way they can The word friends is to cheap,we are just FAMILY plain and simple The very best from Svenn |

Title: Re: clusters and chemo Post by BobG on May 8th, 2004, 7:13pm As far as I know, and I don't know much, nitroglycerin (sp?) is the only chemical that will trigger a clusterheadache even in those people that are not in a cycle. Is nitroglycerin part of your chemo treatment? 18 years pain free and now this. It totally sux. |
