I know that Marty taped Jill having an attack, but don't know what happened to it, much less them.

With a lot of us chronics at the convention...You may get more tha n you bargained for if anyone is willing to have themselves taped that is.

I would do it, but I'm not gonna be there this year, and I'm out of cycle....
Catch me in about 2 yrs ...

I think it would be interesting to make a documentary with plenty of us getting hit, explaining the trouble finding good doctors, horror stories and of course success stories too. We could even do it like Michael Moore and ambush the drug co. execs and grill them on their bullshit game they play with our lives and our money, etc... ;) You get the idea... Perhaps we could submit it to the Cannes festival! :D

Funny you should mention that. The documentary that my son is going to do, WILL include at least one hit. The bonehead wants to tape ME!!! Sheesh!!! I am too good looking for THAT!!! Svenn, when Adam was here visiting, he tried to get one of my hits for you. It just never happened. Either he wasn't here when I got hit hard, or when he was here, it was a minor hit.

They are alive, Jill still reads posts from time to time but doesn't post becouse she is tired of the constant flaming she gets. She doesn't lurk as she is logged on when she reads.

I would hope the camera is off anytime someone is getting hit unless it is pre-authorized.

I think you're right Unsolved. If I knew the camera was on I would have a hard time doing my usual ritual of fighting the Beast to the death. Not a pretty sight I must say. It just wouldn't be the same.

Probably... I've noticed I tend to moan more when someone else is around.

But if it's a BAD ONE I go primal and my surroundings dissapear.

You could film me but it would be in your best interest to stay at least 10 feet away or you might get hurt. After a while I don't think a thing like a camera would bother me. If I could duplicate the beast walk when I'm out of cycle I'd hands down win an oscar.

DO NOT offer assistance, I don't want to know

If I was in cycle right now, especially during convention, I would let 1 person tape me getting hit. Taping me pounding on my head with my fist and moaning is something I normally do, BUT I would NOT ride a whole one out (unless it was a low kip) without taking a trex injection. The only reason I say this, is because I have a habit of disappearing into the shower (disrobed of course) with ice packs and scream at the top of my lungs to die. The only way something like that would ever get on tape, is if a professional was taping it, and blocked out certain, um, areas... :-/

Last week I heard a tap, tap tapping at my cellar door.

I only wish it was a raven instead of this bastard demon.

I have vowed here before that next cycle I will tape an 'episode'. I figure that when I am hit I am so unaware of my surroundings that I would not behave differently on tape.

AS for the getting naked, (pronounce nay-ked here in Aus) a pair of speedos should do the trick. I may have to work out before hand like in the movie ED TV. ;)

If I were in cycle, I would allow myself to be taped, and I would ride it out, from brutal beginning to bitter end, just because I know it would help others. I guess I am pragmatic at heart...

It's really a lot more complex issue than it sounds. Lots of ego, self-consciousness and emotional baggage with this. I can't see me allowing myself to be taped. Besides my wife, I don't like anyone around me when I am going through an attack. I don't necessarily want her there, but she won't leave me during a hit. The time I almost committed suicide because of this shit still weighs heavily on her.

I think there would be a tendency for a lot of people to either ham it up (for the good of the cause, of course) or to try to be John Wayne and playdown the pain. On the other hand there are too many privacy issues with taping someone without their knowledge or consent.

Good luck. The convention would definitely give you a target rich environment.

remember in the taping of this... use a high quality tape or hi-res digital.. keep it on a tripod if at all possible... If taping use hi 8 if possible.. or beta.. that way it will be better when it is transposed or captured digitally.
