Saturday night non CH rubbish again!
Just finished watching another one of the programmes where the great unwashed British public vote for their top things.

This one was the Top 100 Sexiest Moments on Film/TV.

My 2 favourites were there (Officer and a Gentleman bit where he sweeps her off her feet, and the love scene in Don't Look Now between Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie)

Sharon Stone's flash came very high up, but did you know Jessica Rabbit did the same thing? Debbie Does Dallas scored pretty well as well.

Mine is Pretty Woman.  Where Richard Greer shows up in his limo proposing to her like a princess and sweeping her off her feet.  I think that is just so romantic!

Lesbian kisses don't do it for me, but it is amazing the number of lesbian kissing scenes which make it into the Top 100 (wonder who was voting!) Susan Sarandon is in there with two different films where she kisses women.

It was a bit of a revelation to me that Top Gun was mainly homo-eroticism too.

Ok, it was a bad movie, but my favorite sex scene was from the film "Never Talk to Strangers" with Antonio Banderas and Rebecca De Mornay.  OMG, now I'm not a habitual aggressive sex scene viewer, but that one had me rewinding my tape a couple times...  It was the 1st movie I saw with Antonio in it and I was hooked on him from there.

Somewhat reminiscent of a former partner's similar abilities -

The movie Kalifornia, in the car when Juliet Lewis reached her legs back over the top of Brad's head and grabbed the top of the window's car chrome with her toes.  Complete with sound effects.  One romantic girl.

I think that's why Debbie Does Dallas and Emmanuelle were rated high, lots of fond memories and votes from people who saw these as their first pornos.

LOL, Pubgirl. One other candidate: The whole movie, really: "Cat People," with Natasjia Kinski (sp?). The whole movie just oozed sexual tension.... If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it! Phew!!!

If that was a Gail Palmer movie, I went school with her and have seen her last in the late nineties.  Guys were talking about her in sixth grade.  Junior high she was really hot.  In high school, beyond most of us in... carnal knowledge?

9 1/2 Weeks was hot, but I hated the ending. Man... He took her to the pinnacle.......... and then dropped her cold.  >:( I wish the ending would have been better.

You got a good memory Margi, I hated that film! just wanted to slap that silly woman's lips 'cos they were the only bit of her face that acted. :(

Apparently Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke hated each other and she said he stank like an old ashtray and she hated kissing him. Must be a good actress!

The bowler hat bit "You can leave your hat on" now always reminds me of "The Full Monty", now that WAS a good film. Not sexy, just great.

Decks in the UK are too cold for that, (isn't it Fu? not as bad as it sounds, we haven't tried,  he just ventured out in the rain and scarpered inside quick!)

We make do with films and electric blankets here ;;D


Just another thought, odd,  little seen British film with Jeff Goldblum having sex with Emma Thompson called "The Tall Guy", that was what sex is really like!)

hey wendy...had to respond on the top 10 you hit the nail on the head with officer and a gentleman...thats one of my all time favorite's but i gotta say for some rompin stompin stop the movie and "do me now" kinda action i gotta go with 9 1/2 weeks...i think that movie got stopped and rewound so many times it was smokin~~~~~

Actually I cant believe that the really bad d ratted porn Barbarella was on the top 100 list. That was the worse movie ever. The whole scene where Jane Fonda over heats the orgam Machine.  :o

Fantastic film. Laughed my socks off throughout. Husband thinks it is a really horny film though and couldn't understand why I was laughing.

According to NHK, Domo-kun is recognized by 90% of Japanese schoolchildren.
The egg probably originates from the egg-shaped rings of the NHK logo (made eggy in 1995).
The following are the character descriptions as they appear at Domomode.
DOMO is a strange creature born from an egg. One day he fell into Usajii's house, the old rabbit likes TV. After that he began to love watching TV. He is gentle and strong. When he is in a bad mood, he breaks wind.

Disliked food: Apple (There seems a deep mystery in his DNA)
Favorite talent: MAX and The guitar wolf
I am guessing that "bad mood" is really something like "distressed/nervous," as evidenced by the episode in which he accidentally meets up with Ta-chan, sweats a little, and lets fly.
