Title: Confirmed: Out of Cycle! Post by Jeepgun on Apr 29th, 2004, 10:01am Last night, it was hot and I couldn't sleep, so I sat up and read a book. Usually, that's a big enough trigger, but then I decided to have a couple of fingers of scotch. No problem! I've now been off of the verapamil for five days, without so much as a hint of pain. Interestingly enough, yesterday afternoon, I felt "clustery," which is to say, I had a mild, almost imperceptable pain behind my right eye. It wasn't even bad enough to be called a shadow. Sort of like the beast giving me one last caress and saying, "Ta for now! I'll be back." I don't care, though. The good news is that this crap has finally come to an end for now. The bad news is, I'm out of scotch! (OH!!! WILL THE AGONY NEVER END!?!?!?) ;;D |

Stayed on Topamax probably a month past any significant CH type pains...but between nerves "remebering" the pain you feel, and the constant worry "oh God, please not now!" it's had to tell sometimes. I woke up the other morning with a slight pain behind my right eye (my normal CH side) and wondered. Took a cople Ibuprofen in about 10 minutes felt fine. SO I doubt that there was anything related to CH except that constant worry that one might return. Really wish that everyone else can feel this...in time there will be respite for all I pray! |
