I met my first American clusterhead!
Mike, Peter and I had lunch with Fu in my village.
He's just left on a small train bound back to London, on a wet, grey, windswept, typical British Spring Day.

and he is the loveliest man you could ever hope to meet. :D

He's suffered our local pub food, drunk barman and regular ancient customers (who listened in to our conversation peppered with references to illicit drugs with great interest, we made their day I think!)
He did all the travelling with great good humour and a hangover from last night.

And he was nice to my cats and dog.

Fu, it was really wonderful to meet you. Next visit we go out in the evening and get drunk!
Can't wait for your next visit, and hope we get some sun this time. :-* :-* :-*

I had a wonderful time meeting everybody and hope we get the chance to go out on the town in London next time I'm there. Wendy has a fabulous house and was the perfect hostess. Her dog and cats and birds were all very cool. We could have had better weather, but there was a nice fire in the pub fireplace, as there was also in her house. The train ride wasn't too bad at all, two different trains on the tube and one 45 minute ride on British Rail. I was surprised how smoothly it went as I basically reached each train the moment they were about to depart. All this while sporting a massive hangover from too much champagne, wine, port and brandy from the night before. It could have been a disaster, but as soon as we got to the pub and I got that first Guinness in me, I was fine. I must say the pub had the most excellent grub, but I suspect that could have been the hangover talking.

Thanks for being so hospitable Wendy! Peter and Mike are awesome people too.

The night before. Early. Obviously. You don't want to see what I looked like at 2am. That's my CEO. I had to wait for him to leave before I could start power-drinking. ;;D

Assume you are off drinking again now. Hope you survive more alcohol.

The verdict from the men is the same as mine, "a thoroughly nice chap". Not sure what we were expecting but you could have been a pink thong wearing, midget throwing axe murderer of course!

P.S. The "allergy" is developing into a full scale temperature and achy bones lurg now, so I have been in front of the fire with Phoebe and a hot lemon drink. Gave Phoebe a special real meat meal in honour of your visit and I'll let you know what the vet says.

(Phoebe is one of my four cats by the way folks and she fell in love with Fu)

Hey what's the favorite drink over there guys.........is Yagamiester (yeah big boo-boo spellin that word) a big shot drink over there or where is that one popular or from.....was thinkin England but I may have that one WRONG ! Sounds like you guys had a jolly ole time and cheerie O and all that stuff !!! Pam that's not been across any ponds yet cuz I don't fly and I can't swim that well ;)

I need someone much more mechanicaly inclinded to help me post a pic from Vegas in Jan. I got a new digital Camera and finally downloaded pics. But when I down loaded them, one actually was more of a really messed up short film that ends up with a group pic. But I can not get it to post anywhere and dont know how to get it here. Anyway is anyone has any ideas let me know.
