Title: You Raise Me Up (not ch)
Post by Lizzie2 on Apr 27th, 2004, 12:02am
Just liked these song lyrics on a cd my mom gave me the other day:

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

It's sung by Josh Groban, and the tune sounds very much like the Irish tune, "Danny Boy."  I do like it. :)

Good thing your dress wasn't any shorter.  Hope it ain't gospel or I'm in trouble.

Hey Lizzie, you're inspiring too,
