She is 8 weeks old long hair Dotson, beautiful and she loves to give kisses. She is just beautiful. I llove her the whole family does. She cost a bundle and we may eat beans and wennies a while but she is worth it.

Thanks Margi for all the incouragement and all who sent there prayers and advice. Roxey your so right Taco was and always will be a member of my family .

So, you got a weiner dog, huh? What's her name? Saucy? (short for sausage?) :)

Congratulations - hope you're well-rested, 'cause there ain't gonna be no sleep with a new puppy in the house, especially not tonight!

Taco would be VERY proud of you too. Trust me on that. Nothing like a new puppy to get you through the dark days. She's a very lucky little girl to have found your family! Taco's probably telling her that now.

What color is she? I love Dachshund's and had 2 myself for all their lives? Mine were short hair and red and male and just loved to mark their territory. Be VERY grateful you got a girl!!

I wanna see pics!
Need a name!

Ya ever had a Dachshund before? If not, teach her early not to jump off of high things and control her weight as she matures and she'll be just fine but as she ages if she gets overweight or jumps too much she will get back problems.

I'm SO proud of you and Taco is too!!!

btw...they like to sleep in bed with ya too! Ain't that puppy breath just adorable?

Awww Elaine, that is such wonderful news!! I am so glad you got a new puppy to love! We've decided we need to get a dog here now too, because Eli just goes nuts over the neighbors dog when she brings her over. SO, we are probably going to go to the shelter and see if we can't find one a couple years old that likes children. Animals give unconditional love and support that is so special.... Arn't they just wonderful?? :D

I met ya I know ya care Steve , you *effin'* Right. I still miss Taco and there won't be another like Taco but Taco would have wanted us to Love again. Misty and us need each other :-)!

Awwwww E what a cutie she is!!! Hey if I had known yall were lookin for a weiner dawg I would have given you one of the pups I have here!!! They are 3 weeks old today. Not long haired though but all weiner dawgs are wonderful little babies in my book!! Enjoy Elaine!! Gald to hear the good news!!!!

Birthday of Misty is 3/2/04 color wild boar Mini Dashhund.
Misty slept by the bed in her own playpen till 6:30 am at what time she cried I picked her up took her out side and she did her thing brought her back in played some then put her back in her playpen and tried to go back to sleep she wasn't to let me so I picked her up put her close to me in my bed and she feel alseep there and we slept another hour. :-)
My cats hiss at her and my dogs run from her. Its so funny to see a two pound puppy chase a 40 lb dog around LMAO poor Brownie.

Wow.....COOL !!! Nice lookin pup.......hey I raise dashy's.......have a small in home kennel job here doin it......I have 14......all colors ! Got some that throw long hair pups also. Got several mom's due when we get back from vacation on May. Doxie Poxie Pam

Congrats ;;D Elaine have you noticed how much Misty already looks like her new Mom? Amazing...Love to all of you...
