Caught the bastard with Norton, now have to figure out why my harddrive expanded with instead of 4.20 gig free, now I only have 2.3 gig free. Probably have to get my brother over here to figure it out.
Eh, I hate machines!
Oh well... back to reading...

Yeah that sucks. We have a hacker riding our machines on our home network. We have a firewall that keeps him out most the time now but sometimes it seems like he is still getting through. It is terrible my husbands harddrive was just grinding away all day and he wasn't even on his machine. Hopefully the firewall is discouraging whoever is doing this.

It apparently wreaked a bit more havock than I originally thought. My brother is coming over tomorrow to check it out. I got rid of the infected files, ran defrag, and now it is telling me there is a problem with Norton and I have to uninstall and reinstall. Grrrr.

Dont feel bad dude, mine wont even start in safe mode it is so fucked up. Its a good thing my bro networked this laptop in otherwise I would be chucking shit out the window now.

Tommorrow I set out to buy a puter that will launch the space shuttle, Thank god I backed up everything that I needed one day this week when the piece of shit was actually running......LMAO ;;D

One thing I did learn from Computer Science @ IU .... No matter what protection you think you have ... BACK UP THOSE FILES OFTEN !!
(That's the best advice I can give anyone)

PS... I got rid of 2 Trojans (1 was the CWS trojan) and 1 virus (a Windows Media Loader.exe) in the last 24 hours. Hooray !!

I have an EZQUEST Firewire external 60 gig HD... I'm backing up all my importants stuffs there...;-)

My next purchase... a dvd burner to back up all the importants stuffs that i have on my external drive...;-) You can burned 4.7 gig of data on each sides...
