Title: Cluster Friendly Job
Post by ChrisUhl on Apr 23rd, 2004, 3:23am
As the ratio of my CH attacks have increased a lot over the past 6 months I've tried to get a new job. At the moment I work as a copywriter at an agency,  but yesterday I met with some old clients to discuss some freelance work. One deal is in house. And the second contract should be signed on Tuesday.

If it works out I'll go freelance and start up for myself. The real perk is that I can work on the jobs when I want to. They just have to be delivered at the deadline. As it is now I have to drag myself out of bed (I usually get an attack about 5 AM.).

Gees, I really hope this works out.

Ciao, Chris

Chris

I hope it does too. I've been self employed for 10 years now. It works really well with CH if you can get enough work coming in. It means I can work when I feel good or in the middle of the night when I'm quite often awake. If I've had a bad night and feel ill or stupid or the sun is shining, I do chores, gardening etc instead.

I would never work for anyone else ever again if I can help it!

Good luck

Wendy

Self employed is one way to go, and it seems like lots of us are.  I taught for several years - the beast only visits me in the summer, which was during time off.
