This song came out in the 80's I think. Its about depression caused by unemployment which was very high in the UK at this time.
Agree with you Joe Kate Bush is excellent! To think she wrote Wuthering Heights aged 16!!

Peter Gabriel has always been near to God to me, well ever since Lamb Lies Down on Broadway anyway, and that was a LONG time ago.

Ahhh Peter Gabriel...One of my favorites, GREAT song.

"Mercy Street" is probably my all time gabriel song, cant find the lyrics, though......

Hell, she wrote "The Man with the Child in His Eyes" when she was 12!!

I just wish she'd release her new album. It's been 11 years since the last one. Hurry up Kate!

Kate Bush is awesome.

I think 'Hounds Of Love' is her best album.

She was a fairly nifty studio producer as well.
