Sorry I haven't been around to do my share of the rowing lately. It seems the Verap and Lith have quit working for me although I'm afraid to quit taking them. Been getting hit with 7 - 9's every hour on the hour all night for the last several weeks. They quit about 4 or 5 in the morning and then I get hit sporadically during the day, usually 3 or 4 more times. I've just been to tired out to post, although I've tried to check in and pray for you all.

Ken, (Athos) I know for sure how you feel right now, but hang in there. You are in our prayers for sure.

If you have any prayers to spare, we could sure use some right now. Anybody got a cup of sleep I could borrow? ;;D

Sory to hear that. Although, why take it if you're getting hit that much? Do you think you migh get hit more?

Have you tried melatonin to sleep?
I know the sleep deprivation is the worst part. Well, actually the pain is the worst part, but you know what I mean... ;)
When I was at my wits end, practically hallucinating from lack of sleep, I ate 18 mg of melatonin and finally got uninterupted sleep for the first time in months.
That might be a bit of a high dosage depending on your physical statistics, but it gave me sleep,so I'd eat a whole bottle of it in the same position again... :)

OH Jerry - I'm sorry. Have you gone to see if the Dr can switch you - get you on something else that might work?? Do you need anything? Give Ramon and I a holla if you need to! We're close, buddy - and we'll do what we can!

Hi Jerry - so sorry to hear you're getting nailed hard again. Not sure what dose of verap you're on but should you check with your doc about maybe upping it?

Also, please try the Dramamine or Benadryl at bedtime. Available without a 'script but it really can help you get through a night without getting hit. Please give it a try?

Melatonin doesn't work for me, just gives me weird dreams, but I still get awakened. I'm allergic to Dramamine and Benedryl. Both give me nasty hives. Go figure!

I see my Dr. in two weeks. Hope to up the Lithium maybe. Can't up the Verap. BP bottoms. I'm kind of looking forward to that dirt nap, Echo, but I'll not hurry it along. ;;D

I'll be happy to pass along a kiss or two to Linda if I have time. ;;D

Love you guys. Don't know what I would do if I had not found this board about the same time as I went chronic.

stupid question.......can you take verapimil and imitrex if you have high blood pressure or are takein high blood pressure meds ? Prolly been mentiond on here a dozen times and I forgot......jus wonderin and tryin to be prepared for Brad's next beastly tour. He takes Altace for high blood pressue. Wasn't on anything last episode......was takein as many as 4 or 5 imitrex a day off and on along with the insurence struggle to get more.....HOPEIN he can still use it......had to up his verap tho also cuz he was shadow city. Pam that hides in his shadows
