Post by jonny on Apr 15th, 2004, 4:26pm In 1999 when I washed up here with a pitch fork in my eye I was so grateful that I had a shit load of stickers made and gave them to the folks here (See pic below) http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b3d706b3127cce8f4b1c1b83910000001610 I also sent some to England, Canada and Italy. Since then I have been waiting for someone to pull up and say "Im a clusterhead" (Not, "What is a cluster headache") Well, driving down the road today on my way to my lawyers there is some dude on my bumper, he gets to left of me, right beside me and looks over.....thinking hes a freak I hit the gas. By the time he gets to the red light im at he pulls up and beeps, points his finger at me and then points his finger at his eye.....I nod yes as the light turns green and make the motion of typing on a keyboard, he nods yes like he knows im talking about finding CH.com on the computer. Man!, if this 60 something dude finds this place and it was because of the sticker on my truck it will be well worth the money I put out....One more family member that is not alone ;;D Dude, if you read this.....that was me on Magrath Blvd in Quincy, Mass at 2 pm today. ....................................jonny |

Never once had someone say anything but...."what is a cluster Headache" But then again....I have educated a lot of people with it. As an aside here. Last week I was in Wal-mart with my OUCH sweatshirt on and a employee tapped me on the shoulder and asked about what O.U.C.H meant. She was working at the time, so I said you probably don't have the time to listen right now and she said, no, really I want to know, I'm on a break. After I gave her the short version...she was in awe. Every person we educate, is another who won't say, " oh yeah, I get those Migraines too" LindaH |

But I have the decal on my NEW car...and I plan on gettin some more. LOVE them decals :) And Linda, I know what ya mean about educatin people in a small amount of time. Like all the others id like to get involved too. I have had interaction with a sufferer after wearing an OUCH tshirt while in line for a ferry. Its truly sensational to have that kind of interaction because of a t-shirt or bumper sticker. Ill be buying one to go on the bra fairing of my Triumph RS. Turts |

Post by Cerberus on Apr 18th, 2004, 2:18pm ya Know, Every time I go to the Doc's office I wear my sweatshirt/t-shirt, matter of fact I wear em every chance I get, and only once or twice has anyone asked me what it ment or what a CH was... still, I take the time to explain. I keep a circular static sticker on my windshield so that all those who market products or park near me can see it, I have yet to be asked about it but only time will tell. Great story Jonny, I would still like to see a standard CH medical info card, bracelet...what-have-you to show police, EMTs, ER folks or whatever rescue/service people about my/our medical needs when i'm in cycle. It was tossed around for a while but I never saw any tangible result....is there any? |

Didn't get any air brushin done on it yet......he's been workin every day to get it back together. Man I think that'd look so cool.....in white letters with some shadeing !!
