I am getting more interested in meeting many of you, but cannot make it to the Nashville convention. I am wondering if it would be possible for a group to convene in any ot the northeast cities for a day in Boston, Providence, Hartford, NYC, Philadelphia, etc.???Perhaps going for a walk in a nature preserve, park, hang out wherever...I could and would be willing to find something nice to do (on a weekend of course).

Would anyone be interested? Are there gatherings I am not aware of? I'd really like to meet you. I'd really like to talk to Jonny about Sweet and how they ruled the airwaves in the late 70's. [smiley=smokin.gif]

We are having a small gathering in Atlanta in May...you could always fly in....she lives in the country, you could pretend you are in a park.... ;;Dnancyc

I will be in Asheville, NC visting my best friend from Wed, Thurs, May 27th to Mon May 31st. It is only like a 4-hr drive from Asheville.

Are those dates in that ballpark?

The gathering in Atlanta is May 22, 23rd...Can you change your travel plans? If not, swing by Columbia, Sc the next weekend...heck, everyone drops by when they are in the South...I am always good for a laugh...got a helluva southern accent.....Got some Yankees clusterbuds coming into town this weekend, in fact...Bill L and Deb.. :)nancyc

Can't change those plans, cuz they all center around a "Rush" concert in Charotte on Fri, May 28th. How far is Columbia from Asheville?

About three hours ...Butt, there are some clusterheads like Clusterchuck and Deb L in NC...not sure how far they are from Ashville though...You really need to meet some clusterheads..it is fantastic!..... :)nancyc

Well. I will be in the Asheville-area May 28th to the 31st.

Theres one in Sydney, Australia this weekend.

Im the only one going SO FAR!!!
But your all more than welcome to attend.

There will be vegemite on toast for breakfast, followed by kangaroo and shrimp on the barbie for lunch. Nothing for dinner but Fosters.

It will be held in my loungroom.

LMAO, Linda.... ;;D....I will never forget that Riccardo, John, Mo and Ueli voted me "Least Understandable" In Atlanta...Like Ueli had any room to talk LOL...That really pissed Barb D off...she had that title...I plan to keep that title at this convention even if i have to hitchhike to get there ;;D...It has been way too long since I have seen all of you! ;;Dnancyc

Some of were supposed to be gathering in New York City Scott. That should be going on pretty soon. I wouldn't be opposed to traveling to CT or to Boston or whatever if it meant meeting fellow sufferers.

Scott, I am in eastern NC, in Greenville. It is a six hour drive to Asheville. Mikey lives MUCH closer. Maybe we can pick a day and several of us can meet halfway between Asheville and Greenville. Like in Winston-Salem or Greensboro. Bill (Racer1_NC) lives in that area. We can have a little get together in that area.

I'd also like to meet a few of ya's and if Erik from Brooklyn is reading I would definitely like to meet him.

Do you think you could arrange something for a Sat or Sun deally.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the invite. I will be with Matt the "Rush" maniac. I know we will be travelling to Charlotte one day for that show. Otherwise he is a gigging musician in Asheville, and I will be seeing some of his performances. I am driving 900 miles, I may have to focus on hangin with him, but if we could somehow find somewhere closer (in-between)? I'd be up for that.
