I was looking through the message board archives and I found some of my posts in 99. But I swear I posted about a year before but I cannot find them. If anyone remembers, did DJ just start archiving in 98 or did the message board actually start then?

Interesting that I noticed jonny, Bob P and some others were posting hard and fast even back then. This place must be in your blood by now.

Down through the years some archives were lost due to technical difficulties (probably a hard drive going belly up) without RAID or constant backups your screwed. The cost to retrive data from a dead drive is prohibitive.

I'm pretty sure it went something like that anyway.

Thanks, that must be it. I only posted about 10 messages once in 98 and once in 99 until recently. But I can't find the first ones or my guestbook entry when I found this site. I just remember being very grateful.

I think i am done with the message board thing for a while. It really sux u in, doesn't it? It has been great talking to everyne here. I am still grateful I found other people who suffer from these, for the longest time I really thought I was the only one getting them, I could not make anyone understand how much they sucked and it was just another example of life giving me my own personal supersized shaft. I was very glad to find it happened to others, though I don't wish it on anyone. Thanks.

This place is unique. I've never learned more, met more people from the web or found a place that was so much fun as well. 8)
