Title: "The Only Thing That Works Is The Imitrex.&qu
Post by Carl_D on Apr 8th, 2004, 10:45pm
Very nice job!
We have a famous Clusterhead (or soon to be TV star.)

Only thing I would have changed is, the headaches started just before the gulf war, and insert the word "Cluster" in place of migraine.

Who knows though? Maybe a few people saw tonights episode who suffer with headaches, migraine or cluster, and can ask thier doc's about using Imitrex. "ER" can be a pretty info-taining show.

Congrats Buck,
Carl D

(Okay, I posted this on the other thread too, but might be an idea?)
Good job Buckeye!
Whether "M" or CH, at least the message of the high cost of Imitrex was mentioned and how the common folk couldn't afford it. When the doc understood and wouldn't turn him in, just backed up the fact.

Don't these shows get a lot of mail from fans of the show about characters they like and want to see again?
I'm thinking that this character has been misdiagnosed and really has CH. He reappears at the hospital under a Kip10 CH attack, doctors treat him like they do most CH patients and don't know what's wrong with him. This part could go on for many episodes. Going through an MRI ... no results, putting him on Oxygen, etc.
Attacks keep coming until they somehow determine he has CH. Then the doctors spend much time trying to figure out what CH is and how to treat it. Countless attempts fail, all kinds of CH information is brought up.
Where do we write that we want to see a specific character again?

(A friend of mine who knew I had CH but never saw me under attack was at an ER when a guy came in she thought was either "high" or "insane" as he flailed about the waiting room. He smashed his head against the Coke machine and pushed it across the floor with his head. As security and doctors finally paid attention, he yelled out he had Cluster Headaches! This friend now understands somewhat and doesn't want to be around when I get hit that hard)  ;) :P
Some type of views of a CHer getting attacks and reactions would turn some heads!

WE WANT THIS CHARACTER BACK!

Good job Buckeye!  8)
Dave
