Ok folks, I have a legitimate time allotment in order to update everyone hehe.

I had a docs appt this morning at 7:30 a.m. - I got out of the hospital at 2 p.m.

Apparently I was rather dehydrated ... go figure. They did something call orthostatics?? where they take your b/p laying down, sitting up and standing up. Then they did a bunch of blood tests.

I failed :-/

When I woke up this morning, I started my day the usual way, I woke up, laid in bed waiting to see if my head hurt. It didn't so I stood up. I then promptly ran to the bathroom to throw up yet again.

Apparently, if I'd waited it out another day, the next step would have involved coma renal failure and other pesky little things like that.

So 3 bags of IV fluid later, a few prescriptions for the nausea, and they let me loose with the caveat that I would follow Clark's strict instructions.

Anywho, I'm alive and kicking (barely) and I need a few days rest and recuperation so they say, so I will be absent for a few more days.

sorry folks , there's lots I want to answer and things I want to be doing, but Clark's rules are pretty strict :(

Take care everyone, and I'll be back to 100% before you know it! And I am now allowed personal emails at least, so I can answer those ;)

Thanks for the update. Sounds like you're having a hell of a time - i'm sorry!! Anyone know what renal coma thingy is??

Geez Cat,

Did you read my email yesterday about needing IV fluids? Dehydration can be very dangerous.

You keep your butt in bed. i got your airline stuff all worked out and emailed to you and rox. I'm headed out in the a.m. for NECH.

Thanks Cat for letting us in. Sounds like you better take care of yourself. We miss, love and need you but will have to learn to live without you until we hear from a better Cat that has been IV'd get well vibes.

Do the right thing for your self. Keepin' the catnip warm for you Cat.

I went through that, so many times I lost count....
when I was in the hospital for DHE treatments.
I was so drugged up, I can't remember if that's
what they called it.

100% seems to be your modus operandi.....(the way you operate, in Canadian). If it's Emails you want, I'll forward all the penis enlargement ads, the mortgage info, and the pharmocopias. Education is everything.
