Title: Guestbook Blues.....

DJ may want to look at this one....from the guestbook (http://www.clusterheadaches.com/guestbook.shtml)...hell maybe I am wrong...this shit might work for some...who am I but a lowly sufferer.

"I've seen mixed results with chiropractic and acupuncture for CH's. When we are going to see relief, a headache diary is key. Most of the time, relief is gained from concommitant headaches of neck origin for chiropractic, but most of my patients still report that much of the time they don't know what's going to even set it off.. :( Great! There are headaches of neck origin, and I don't know what is going to set off my clusters, but this yellow page advertisement looks like many I see in my local book.  The day my neuro refers me to one, I find a new one.

When mine first started. THe Pain Mgmt doc I see for my back, decided to do chortizone trigger point in my neck and shoulders because he swore that if I could get those muscles to loosen up that my headaches would stop. Just hurt like hell tp have him jab needles all over the damn place and I ended up gettig a HA as I left his office.  I seriously doubt that the neck triggers these HA. There is some truth I think to the fact that our necks hurt after a HA because we tighten up and / or contort our muscles so bad while we are dancing. So then it comes down tot he simple question of which comes first and what is actually a symptom of the HA rather then a trigger.

I agree with what Tianna said.  I know my neuro thought I had tension headaches for awhile at first before I was diagnosed with ch due to the fact that my neck and shoulder area was so tight and tense.  But as I told them that was because of the pain hurting so much that it was a reaction from the pain not the cause of the pain.  Needless to say I was sent to physical therapy to loosen and work on the muscles and when my ha continued I was able to prove my point.

Also, I have tried chiropractor care and acupunture for my ch and it did nothing for them.

That's nothing more than a bullshit advertisement.
That guy doesn't know a cluster from his dick.
Nothing more than spam. ::)

MY favorite however, comes to us from someone seriously cracked out or something! :o

Seriously, what's this guy on? Where does he think he's posting? I bet he orders the double cheeseburger when he hits KFC! [smiley=laugh.gif]

Trying to catch up on some back posts.

Dude just doing a drive by on the board!

I used to work at a juvenile detention center as a shift supervisor and spent some time on the city's gang task force.  It was and still is always amazing to me how much people who give no respect demand it from others.

Know what I'm sayin, homes?

Chiropractic has no effect on cluster headaches......or much, if anything else for that matter.  It's popular because there are so many people who like to avoid anything clinical. It's also damned expensive.
