Title: It is with great sadness I must say Post by Carl_D on Apr 1st, 2004, 7:34pm :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( Due to some financial woes, it looks like I won't be making it to the clusterheadache convention for the 5th year in a row. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( I contacted the Make-A-Wish foundation who helps terminally ill kids live out thier dreams. I argued that I am a kid at heart, and that I will die - just not sure when, but I will die - it's all true. The job I would have worked for a week in July would have paid for the trip, but it fell through and now I am totally bummed. First I had to miss the midwest meet-n-greet, now I have to miss this. Trying to come up with a cheaper way for traveling...what if I put myself in a crate and had me shipped via UPS to the convention? Phooey! Carl D |
