Apparently Medicaid thinks that 5 vials of Imitrex should last a month. Um, NOT!!!
My Doc gave me what few Imitrex tabs he had in his office, and now I am totally out. Right now I am trying to fight medicaid on this, and having to ride out fricken attacks with no relief until the demon is done. I'm shadowing heavy again, and suspect I'm not too far away from yet another blissful attack. Maybe I can find just one person at medicaid that will hear my plea and understand it enough to change the amount a Clusterhead is allowed for a month of Imitrex

That f'in blows. How many hits do you get out of a vial? I am 160lbs, and manage to get by on .140ml per hit pretty effectively. Works out to about 4 hits per vial.
But I am the guy who gets drunk on two beers, stoned on one j, you get the picture... different chemistry.

My insurance picks up 16 vials/month, plus a shitload of tablets. Fight them.

Carl, have you checked at imitrex.com to see if you qualify for free medication from GSK?

I went to Imitrex.com..and they do have a reimbursement program...check it out. Luke

Just finished writing my "Help me Obi Wan Kenobie - You're my only hope" letter and sent it to GSK. I let them know I am on a fixed income due to my headaches, and can't afford to live month to month.
For now, I am afraid to fall asleep, cause I know I'll get hit as soon as I do.
