For those that have followed the OUCH racing thread, here is what happen tonight.

Due to rain, qualifying was canceled and our starting position was determined by last years points.We started 2nd.

By lap 20 we were in the lead, and held the top spot until a restart after a yellow flag on lap 131. On the restart, the 2nd place car pulled along side of us and instead of passing, he put our car in the wall ending our night.

That's racing....there is always next week.

During the "meet the driver and see the cars" session before the race, I handed out several of the OUCH flyers that Mast printed up. (they look great Mast) I also managed to corner the track announcer and got about a minute to explain what CH and OUCH was over the PA system.

For those that requested pictures, I will send the high res copies tomorrow. Links to dial up friendly pics to follow.

Thanks! We race primarily in NC, SC, and VA. These cars also run in the northeast US. Our finances do not allow us to travel much, so we stay pretty close to home. I do travel to NY, CT, and PA to attend races as a spectator when ever my schedule allows. PM me with your email if you'd like a high res pic.

Thanks for helping get the word out. The short description of CH and OUCH on the PA may have actually been heard by clusterheads that were still wondering "Is that pain FOR REAL? - WTF?"

We're Big motorsport fans here Bill!
We're really impressed with both the car and the OUCH awareness-raising exercise. What a GOOD idea!
DNFs are a pain, but as you said, look out next time!

Thanks everyone for all the kind words! I'll pass all the comments on to the car owner, driver and the rest of the team.

The logos will stay on the car for at least one more race. After all the positive responses, I'd say they'll be on longer than that. ;;D
