Sorry everyone for not getting on the board for about a week or so. My 6 yr old got Strepp throat and I did not do much but sit with her next to me on the couch and watch whatever movie she wanted to see. Did not even turn on the computers or anything. Have to admit that even though the reason was crappy, I really enjoyed having that time with just the two of us. ;;D My 19mo old was in day care and hubby was at work. So it was just the girls. Guess the beast knew not to screw with a mom, cause he only hit me at night when my husband was home to help. (Great inprovement then the HA I normally get all day long. ;))

Trying to catch up on all the news, but damn this board is very busy every day.

You all were always on my thoughts and I hope that everyone had PF times.

Hope she feels better now, it is HIDEOUS when your child is sick.
Know what you mean about spending time with them though, it's so easy not to nowadays with work/busy lives etc. Not the best reason for it, but it is also nice to be depended on and needed. My kid is so independant now he is at school that I like it a lot when he needs his Mummy. :-[

Thanks guys. Her fever broke which was the best thing. So now that she is feeling better she wants to run at mock (sp?) 9 and trying to get her to slow down so she does not get worse again is insane. 6 year olds dont understand logic. ;;D

It is funny, I read what you all wrote. He calles you my headache friends. Guess that works.

Awwwwwwww poor child...... I'm sorry...... :'(...... but happy is she is feeling better..... everything will pass....... generally bad things don't last so long..... if you were here sure is I would be your baby-sitter..... ;;D ;;D

I remember strep throat as a kid. It is the absolute worst. She is lucky you were able to be there with lots of cuddles. Glad she is feeling better-hope you are soon too!

I sorry to hear that your daughter is sick. I hope she is feeling better! :) I always hated to be sick as a kid...

Tia,

I hope she's doing better. No matter the circumstances, one on one time with a child is always great. I hope the beast stays away for awhile.
