Dear all,

As some of you know my neice suffers from a rare condition known as CVS (cyclic vomiting syndrome). At the moment she is in the hospital fighting for her life. Her system has gone into shock and her kidneys are failing. Please send healing vibes towards Dallas.

Very sorry. This thing sounds as nasty as it gets. It makes you wonder what it's all about.

I thank you all for the prayers and warm wishes. You guys/gals are the best. Kaelin slipped into a coma-like state yesterday morning. Her kidneys were failing, her breathing irregular and the doctors were afraid that she would go into cardiac arrest.

But my baby girl has more spirit than that. She "woke up" at about 10pm last night. She's extremely de-hydrated. The doctors got her kidneys to do their job at about 1am. They're keeping her in the hospital while they run some test and get her biocarb (i think that's what my sister said) count back to normal. They also have a CVS specialist who is going to come up with a new plan of attack for treating Kaelin's CVS.

I wanted to thank you all for the prayers and vibes. I'm still very shaky as we came very close to losing my baby girl. I only have one last request.

Her mom, my sister, is having a bad year. She's getting divorced, Kaelin is in the hospital and Ben will lose his left eye in June. She's on the verge of a nervous breakdown so any positive vibes sent her way would be great.

Once again I want to thank you for taking the time to help my baby girl.

Thank you all.

Latest information is:

Kaelin is still dehydrated. Her bicarb level is at 16, it should be at least 20. She still has pain in her abdomen. The doctors think it may be her kidneys. They're running some tests to find out what the problem is. Other than that she's okay. I spoke with her yesterday and she seems to be in good spirits.

Again I want to thank you all for the vibes and good wishes.

Thanks for the website Jayne.

Kaelin has been released from the hospital and doing well. I havn't talked to her yet today but hear that's she's happy to be home and planning to rest the entire weekend.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the vibes.
