the tension mounts
from my eye to my back
shadows haunt
what could they be
resistence is futile
like some star trek invasion
where does it come from
where does it begin
when I look at it, is it there
it's intelligence is undeniable
but how could that be
everywhere i turn
banging heads
fetal knees
it is there
the more i resist
the deeper it cuts
the less i resist

do i see it, where is it
it is just outside my view
when I turn to look for it
it is someplace new
in my neck
in my back
in my head
in my stomach
rushing emotion
blinding anger
incomparable sadness
flowing, flowing, flowing

it's here, it's angry, it's bleeding all over my floor
