Well I just talked to the lady who is in charge of sales.
She told me 7 people have booked under the name of Ouch. So you still all have a great choice obout smoking rooms or not.
So get booking if you want the choice of where you will be smoking or not.

I booked under OUCH and got a smoking room, seeing that a smoking room is such a big deal im bringing 20 cigars (I dont smoke cigars) and im going to get my money's worth by setting off the smoke detectors by smoking three at a time ;;D

Guess they counted us as ONE person booking.......how Zen.

The registration #'s sound a little off. I reserved 2 rooms and with as many people saying they are going, it sure sounds like more than 7 rooms reserved. Also the price quoted with OUCH is $75.00. The senior discount is $79.99. Jimi needs to check out the prices and use OUCH instead of the senior discount.

Come on people and register so we can be sure to get the OUCH discount. You need not pay until you check out so sign up TODAY !!!

There is a problem here somewhere. The lady that I talked to gave me a price of $89.00. She said it was under a block of rooms set aside for OUCH. I asked about senior discount and she gave me $79.99 like Blue Meanie said. I better call back tomorrow and find out what the deal is.
I remembered that you said that they were $75.00 and I asked her about that but she said $89.00 was the price. I don't know who I talked to, but I will sure find out.

When I talked to Beth (the lady Jayne delt with and got us the hotel THANKS JAYNE :-*) at the hotel about 2 weeks ago there were 11 room reserved as of then. But ya never know folks, so get to steppin yall.

I'm reserved too. $89.00/nt. Smoking, two doubles, ones my closet. Listed under OUCH. Seven sounds low.

Maybe they mixed our registrations up with OOCH, Organization of Outandishly Creative Happyfaces. Naah, we got more characters than they do.

I think they gave me the 89.00 rate also. And I have called. didn't think about the senior citizen rate (29 is a senior right????). When I get time I'll call them back "again". They had me booked on the wrong day. Think that's straightened out. Oh well - I'll be there come hell or high water --

Hi Jayne... ;;D... about this number 1-800-633-4427 they say me it doesn't exist.... I have seen the link and I called this number: 1-615-3274707... it's Holiday Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt, 2613 West End Ave...

So, now I have a doubt, is that the Hotel for the Convention?? ;;D

I said the lady I spoke (Kame.... very gentle) last week that we are with OUCH group... and she told: What is OUCH?... bla... bla... bla... I have explained her... and I have reserved 2 single rooms no smoking (forgot taht we smoke ;;D, sorry Lu) with my surname (Dal Toè) and VISA... she gave me a confirmation about my reservation: 666 888 53.... if you call again the hotel, can you ask about us...??

I wouldn't like to be there without a room, at least we are not dangerous, we sleep everywhere... and I can sleep everywhere ;;D.... also in your room.... ;;D ;;D ;;D ;;D

We've done hotels with groups before and got alot of the rate differences with sum of us......have even had people walk in off the street while we were checking in and heard them quoted at a cheaper price. Guess it depends on who ya talk to and when ech ? I gotta call yet...I 'think' were goin......! I'll bring a few flares to smoke so we can have the all American smoke out....Bogart Pam ;)

What happen's if 50 don't book.....am wonderin if they are givein two different prices cuz one is for the discount if it happen's and other is the set price for the group if not ? Did that make sense..do I ever ? I will be bookin within the next few days..I have family to visit so am tryin to figure that one out. We may come a day early or stay a day later.......either way tho it will be about 4 nites. You should see what my bill is for stayin in Myrtle Beach for a week for bike week.....I'll need a box to live in behind McDonalds after all that ! Hotel Coo-tie-fornia Pam

Hey Jayne,

I just booked two rooms, and they said that the rooms OUCH had reserved have all been booked. She went ahead and gave me the group rate of $89 per room, but she did reiterate...over and over.... that she wasn't going to do that anymore. So, looks like the $99 a night price is going into effect.

Looks like we're going to have a crowd........ ;;D

ok I just called the hotel and reamed some arse.
We are getting a group discount rate which is $89 per night . You have to pay tax on top of that. Their usual rate is anywhere from $109-$139 per night. I also mentioned your post Roxy. There are still plenty of rooms for ouch and if need be they will block off more space for us. What is happining is when people call, they are getting a twerp on the end of the line who doesn't know what's going on. The head of sales is going to be talking to ALL the staff and things should run a little smoother, (I threatened to take our business elsewhere). THERE IS STILL PLENTY OF SPACE!!!
MENTION OUCH or Organisation of Understanding Clusterheadaches when you book your rooms.
I'll see you there at the bar!! ;;D The rate is $89 and then tax on top.

Sorry, but I am going to have to book a package deal through Priceline. I can get 3 nights and airfare for $425.00. Otherwise, to book the hotel and airfare separately would be $267+tax for the hotel and about $250 for the air. We're watching pennies right now, so I gotta do what I have to. :-[ Anyway, I can't WAIT to go!!!

Before buying your plane tickets, please check prices through the OUCH Mall on Travel. If you don't find the best deal through the Mall, then get tickets elsewhere. But please check through the mall first.
