Title: Virus warning Post by Margi on Mar 3rd, 2004, 10:38am Looks like SoBig is out there again. ::) I've gotten mail this morning from webmaster@clusterheadaches.com that contained it (I emailed DJ right away), I got it from our Family Services Team (yes, I administer that mailbox - and we have NO addresses in our contact list, yet it still found my personal address somehow....??), as well as our local telephone company, and about 10 other sources this week. The attachment is always called something different, but it is ALWAYS 35K in size. Watch out, folks!! |

Title: Re: Virus warning Post by Karla on Mar 3rd, 2004, 3:20pm Yeah, I have a lycos email account. I got an email today from staff@lycos.com. It said that my account was going to be canceled unless I replied to them with information explaining why I violated my account. It had a webpage linked which was lycos home page. It had an attachment I was to click on for details of what they wanted. I clicked on it and it contained the "beagle" virus. I found out from lycos this email was not from them. Luckily Norton antivirus software protected me from being infected. |
