Make that trip again. Get the meds right for you. Feel free to tell your tale there too. The doc sounds ok if you got O2 and imitrex. See what else he do for you, perhaps preventive wise, that can be different for everyone. Hate to hear it man, this baby is not playin' with you. Get the right ammo, it's a strong bitch. Hope it goes better for you real soon, hang in. Rule this baby and put it back in the slammer. Good vibes to ya bro. Kevin M |

Title: Re: just F--- g Miserable Post by bobkip on Feb 25th, 2004, 7:34pm Hi Randal, Yeah, it's damn tough when the abortives fail. I just finished 15 minutes of O2 and the sonofabitch was still in my head. Tain't nothing worse than an old standby (O2) failing. But it ends and the beast retreats. God luck. Kip |

Title: Re: just F--- g Miserable Post by Charlie on Feb 26th, 2004, 2:26am Hope you get some shut eye. Damn thing hits on so many levels >:( Feel free to rant away. This is the place. Here are a couple links that may be helpful. The first being a technique that worked for me: http://www.netsync.net/~charlies/ This one is a letter written by a fellow cluster headache sufferer that is the best of its kind to help explain these attacks to families, friends and employers. Its author encourages copying. Title: Re: just F--- g Miserable Post by cablemate on Feb 26th, 2004, 6:10am Randal, Take Johnny's advice. I've been reading his post for about a week now and if they don't make you feel stronger, well they'll make you f#@king laugh. Hang in there, you'll never find a better group of people anywhere. ;;D Cablemate |

Title: Re: just F--- g Miserable Post by BarbaraD on Feb 26th, 2004, 6:45am Hang in there Randall. You might try some Melatonin at night before you try to sleep. It's really helped me get some sleep (most of the time). Mr. Demon hits me about 3 in the morning, but if I get some sleep before that -- I can handle the 3 a.m. wake up call. (Coffee and O2 first thing). Hope things get better. Looking forward to meeting you at convention also.... Hugs BD |

If you ever need an ear - you've come to the right place. I'm not a sufferer, my husband is. But I'm a supporter. Feel free to vent. The people here ROCK! I can't give you any advice on Meds, because we are still trying to find the right "cocktail" for Ken but PF Vibes go out to you babe! Much love (pain free love) Toni |
