I am no lawyer, however if they mailed you your last check, then they are screwed, it is mail fraud. And well reall since you have a check, the intent was there anyway.

A bad check here in Virginia is a criminal offense. Nothing like that hanging over your head to get your money. You can file criminal charges, I assume at your police station or magistrates office.

NO NO! the BANK is sending me my last paycheck back because of failure to honor it. I Still haven't recieved my last check yet. :o
The bank is sending my paycheck I deposited three weeks ago. And now my account is overdrawn the amount of the pay total.

Of course I won't be able to get anything going untill Monday >:( weekend, business hours and all. THen there is the issue of having worked in Wisconsin during that time period so I'll probably have to deal with that hassle as well. >:(

An its a crime to shoot people at random, but, everyone wonders why folks do it. >:( >:(

Ramon,

they are responsible for the check they have issued you, it is a criminal offence. You can take it to the dept of labor.

The check they havent cut you yet will be much harder to collect on.

Is there HR department still open ?
You can always put in a call.

Federal offense. Mail fraud. Contact the Postal Inspector nearest you. The results could be amusing.
