Next year it will be the responsibility of the female population to ensure that reservations are made at the resturant of choice. No Fruffy food places will be allowed either. If they served strategicaly stacked asparagus the place is out. We want ribs, or steak and beer (Miller High Life).

You want roses? Buy them yourself or grow the damn things.

You want baubles? Either chose them yourself or cram a piece of coal up your ass, squeeze really hard and you can crap out a diamond in a couple of weeks.

What say you men --- Are you with me??

There is a flip side, Echo, my hunka hunka burnin love..... we both worked on the big day of romance.....got up the next morning...now, get ready, coz this is where it gets really romantic........

we went to the annual Rod & custom show......nothing like expensive chrome and fancy paint jobs to make a woman amorous, right?......oh, and as a special added treat, I was offered a kraut dog......

I am owed a weekend of romance, agreed????

What you are missing Echo is the fact that most women would be happy with just one 'O' now us women are aware that these cannot be bought in the shops but to avoid trying to get one for us is not the right way to make us happy, Roses...we don't want roses that is soooo not original...Diamonds...i'll let you know in a couple of weeks...how much do you reckon i'd get for a home grown one... ;;D

I guess guys need Valentine's Week instead of Day. That way, sometime during the week we may remember to get around doin' sumpthin, and it's ok if we can get it done sometime within that week. But that week must lie within the time of the Daytona 500, and Hockey and Basketball Allstar games, with a day off from work for President's Day.

Or... and as our choice may suit us... choose to celebrate the whole week exclusively, with our Valentine wearing only linen napkins and strawberries-n-cream for romantic dining.

Depends on how good a shot that little Valentine cherub is with his arrow.
