I strted or Human Society were I use to live. I was also the first woman animal control officer there. Well when I went to work for the county I told them up front don't ever ask me to witness or do anything crule to a animal. Well they screwed up and I witness it and was asked to do it. So me keeping my word. I took channel 5 news to work with me. That led to a new dog pound being built but the man I accused of crulty, kept his job and got out of it.
Well tonight on the news he is again in trouble and for the very same crulity I accused him of. I still have the vidio of when I was on the news and decribed what he did. Tomorrow I am going to go and get them to pull it up and watch it. The man is supended pending investagations. I will be right in the middle of this you can bet on it! People who mistreat animals don't need to work with them.
Anyway its a victory for me on something I been fighting for years animal rights!!

Boy, if you want to see some animal abuse, go to China!
They eat dogs there Elaine.
I went to the market there, and they have these dogs in wire cages. The cages are so small, that the dog is forced to sit in 1 position. Everyday, they squirt him with a hosepipe to clean out his cage. When they finally take him out, his legs no longer will work because hes been forced in this position for so long. It dont really matter though, because when they take him out, all they are doing is taking him somewhere to bleed him, and skin him.
I spent 28 days in China, and i saw 1 wild animal while i was there ( a bird ). I saw no road kill at all.
If it moves in China, it is edible!
In the spring, i like talk to my wife on the phone out on the deck. She asks me what are those noises in the background. I laugh and tell her those are birds. She cant believe it.
Sorry to kidnap your thread, But here in the USA, animals are to be loved and appreciated. In third world countries, animals are strictly for eating. No-one cares if the animal is comfortable before it dies, and there is no such thing as a "Pet". :o

BTW when yer done with this guy canya go to Washington and light a fire under GW's ass? Illinois unemployment rate is 6.4% actually higher than the national rate of 5.6%.......Do WE count as animals cuz its certainly CRUEL?
