Title: New to the board Post by Andrew on Jan 23rd, 2004, 1:48pm I guess I'm called a "Newbie" Been a CH "Endurer" for about 13 years (I'm not going to say sufferer because I refuse to let it rule me). Up until I found this website, I never knew of anyone else that had it. All the love and support you guys give each other is like nothing I've seen before!! Was woken in the wee hours this morning by u know what. Jumped in the shower (hot water helps) had a thought. Is there a place available year round that a clusterhead can go - kind of a retreat sort of place that provides help? Not only to clusterheads but also thier families, learning how to deal with it. Would a place like this be worthwhile? Just a thought Andrew |

Title: Re: New to the board Post by rumplestiltskin on Jan 23rd, 2004, 2:04pm Yes such a place would be welcome. A peaceful pastoral setting with cabins etc. A place a family could go to take a break from their everyday burdens. To be alone and renew and reevaluate the love within. To meet others who deal with this dreadful malady and thru sharing gain strength to perservere. A place of spiritual renewal where we could all stay stinking wasted in a never ending orgiastic debacle ....of love. sounds nice Love den |

If you want to back up a bit in the board and find the thread for the Midwest Meet and Greet - this just took place in Davenport, IA - where lotsa clusterheads got together in what seems to be a strange toga-type ritual...so goes the REAL DEAL threads. ;;D Met 4 so far, including DJ - the man who started this website. Gee, this might just be a great idea for my next entrepreneurial endeavor. I enjoy hosting, entertaining and helping others. Been searching my inner-self for what to do other than high tech, and find a way out of the megalopolis of Wash. DC. With the way den phrased it, I could see myself permanently in such a setting. Peace, 357Mag |

Title: Re: New to the board Post by Charlie on Jan 23rd, 2004, 3:57pm Welcome aboard and if you stick around, you'll find some good ideas and ways to deal with this horror. We have some small meets and a convention of sorts where some of us consume lots of alcohol, Imitrex, and have the dubious pleasure of listening to Hap's renditions on the geeetar. Still, not having to explain what's happening during these headaches is certainly therapeutic. Maybe a rivival is in order. Clusterheads know about speaking in tongues. Charlie |

Title: Re: New to the board Post by Kevin_M on Jan 24th, 2004, 2:36am That place is called nowhere. CH has no boundaries it cannot penetrate. You got it right, endure, and stay on board here when you need to. This place is all we got and we try to make it that mental retreat, to speak of our difficulties, of which we will understand. Welcome Clustervillian, to the land of unburdening of load and loads of land to unburden with. Stake a piece of ground, yours for the taking and all you want. We share everything here, no boundaries, no fences to corral your pain. Imagine. Kevin M. |
