Hi guys,

I hit the search engine for Clusterheadaches and there is a bunch of shit posted with negative feed back regarding this site......one even gave a hit on how to make drugs. Most seem to have been former family members I guess.......

Just curious if anyone else has seen this..... I can't believe anybody with this ailment would critisize our home away from home. Where else could you go to find people like this and then stab them in the back seems a little weird to me.

Try google  "clusterheadaches". There are 76,400 hits.
 
...People are people. Some have a MAJOR chip on their shoulders.
What are you gonna' do? You can't shut them up,nor would I wan't to. Freedom of speach is'nt always a pretty thing. But it's nessesary.
 I have faith that when people need to find a support group like this one,they will.

I guess they were the ones from a couple of years ago however I got a bad taste in my mouth and just vented alittle I guess.........every family has a black sheep and I suppose he's entitled to say anything he wants LOL.

However fuck him and his freedom of speech...........ahhhhh I feel much better now that I used mine

I did, put in clusterheadaches Kevin M.  I was checking out inputs from the old board style message board from mid 2001.  Lots of names still here, some not.  What a flashback.  Pretty tight family, even back then.

They appear to be from 1999-2000...you can find them pretty easily from a search on Yahoo or MSN...it appears it was an attempt to form a splinter board perhaps centered around the Harvard area...seems the boards content is redirected to a series of formums about various neurological disorders hosted on some servers at a harvard.edu address...

Not a very busy formus on CH...2 posts in a couple of months there.  So those comments appear to be not real recent.

And certainly not of much scientific relevance... :)

Actually, OUCH has made quite a name for itself in the search engines.  Clark has been working on an interactive tutorial of sorts with the hypothalamus, trigeminal nerve and Gray's anatomy to show the modalities of CH and as he's been researching the various sites he has discovered on several sites the words:

I can't remember exactly WHEN, but there was ONE time that DJ sent a mass email around threatening to shut down the WHOLE FREAKIN board because of fighting etc.  This could possibly have been that time.
I also remember reading that site once...LAUGHED :)

Seem'd to me the person appologized for slingin shit.....I think they did it to get back and hurt sum others that got in there way or kept them at a certain level. Ahhhhhh....gotta love that pecking order efect Pam

I am not sure if the Guest Book
post was my first post of any
type at CH.com, but it is one I found.


My first Guest Book post (08-18-99).

When I went by Tucson X 2.


All I wish is if every Manager,Boss,Supervisor, etc..., could read these first hand accounts of our sometimes tourturous lives we live. There are soooooo many that think " It's just a headache, take an asprin". I would not wish this on anyone, but if they had to deal with the pain for only 5 minutes they would have more compassion & understanding for us all. I did not know this guest area existed but am I glad I found it! Is now listed in my fav's.

I feel your pain! We are all in the same boat. Oxygen,Imitrex,Verapamil,... all used at one time or another during cycles. If any of you are not getting help from Dr., ask to be referred to a Neurologist, was my life saver! First person to diagnose my CH's, went through a whole battery of tests(CAT scans,sinus,spinal tap,etc...). Within one visit to Neuro, got relief. Good luck to all. Hang in there, remember cluster chat. Pop in sometime as I am constantly in there checking in on all of you (nickname in cluster chat..KingOfPain).
