Yup....I am moving on wednesday, because I can't take my noisy upstairs neighbours anymore. I am moving from my bottom floor apartment (I'll never do that again) to an upstairs apartment in the same complex.
So for anyone who needs my new snail mail addy...pop me a PM and I will give it to ya. Tel # is the same as before.
Oh yeah...any one want to help me move this week??
Don't all raise your hands at once you bunch of lazy buggers. ;;D

Jayne!  I'm sorry to hear you have to move!  I just called my apt complex today to find out what I have to do about my noisy upstairs neighbors (I live on the 1st floor as well).  They told me I could call the cops if it is still noisy after hours.  GREAAAT.  I said it's pretty darn hard to live with all the banging and loud music with a chronic headache and CH condition!  If they're still makin loud noise tonite...the Ferguson Twshp Police will be getting a call from ME!

Good Luck with your move, and I would sure help if I could!

And they will tell you that it is a civil matter and call your property manager/landlord.

Do you have a lease. Request a 504 Reasonable Accomodation due to your disability (CH). The request should be for a re- location due to noise levels.

My apartment complex is charging me a $250 change over fee because I am moving before my lease is up.
My noise issue is the fact this complex is built so cheaply
you can hear every movement the upstairs makes. They have 4 kids and two adults. It is like a bowling alley up there at times with the kids playing romparoom.
Before these neighbours I had 6 yes 6 chinese students living above me and they NEVER slept. I would sleep with a grey noise machine playing as loud as it would go, and ear plug in my ear and a pillow over my head and I could still hear them chopping broccoli.
I can't wait for the quiet!!!

What if you are moved above a hearing impaird couple who then complain about your late night mime practice?

Jayne, I have to ask, I love that picture you have attached to every post.  I know from posts years ago you mentioned some acting.  Is that picture you?  It cracks me up.  Yours and Cathy's also.

Never, ever live in a downstairs
apartment (unless physical
needs require it or you have
no choice).

Learned that the hard way too.

At first I thought this was another thread for you to inform us that your crap was moving, as in your post from several months ago.  Hopefully regarding that movement, you have had continued success.  If not -- "LOOK OUT JAYNE'S GOING TO EXPLODE!"

well don't get excited Echo. Every now and then I have to give birth to brothers and sisters for my "Blue cross blue sheild of Tennessee". You know how it is though...it is a scary experience with your first one. After 10 of them I believe it should be a private affair.
Blue cross blue shield of Tennesse has passed away sadly  :(. I was going to find a nice god mother and godfather for it here on this site...but alas...
