Had another great nites sleep and awoke this morning feeling FAB. I thought "oh yeah, a pain free day great" of course we are always wondering when the pain will hit. No pain all day long until about 15 minutes ago when that awful gripping/pulsating/drumming/ice pick pain started.....shall I go on? [smiley=sayno.gif] I keep telling my head to behave and not to annoy me as Ive had such a great day! [smiley=hammer.gif] [smiley=bomb.gif]
Of course its driving me insane so as its coming near dinner-time it would have to start, maybe I`ll just bang my head off the cooker and be done with it. Nah will go get another jab, will be totally scarred from these jabs!

16th Feb will not come quick enough for me! hopefully the neuro consultant will prescribe O2 [smiley=bow.gif] I will totally beg him for it.

Dude, in the California sense, does not differentiate sex. I guess to e politically correct, and not confuse jonny, I should say dudette. But it just isn't quite as smooth a word.

Janzorkris,

I agree you need to bitch, moan groan and ring the Dr.s phone Off the f-in hook to get your 02 NOW!, but in the meantime...Sit in front of a fan or an a/c vent and breathe deeply. Not the same as pure 02, but it works better than nothing. I even had a friend drive me around while I held my head out of the window for the air several times before I got 02. Also give up your cup of tea, and drink some strong coffee girl.

also Lil Deb? Now don't be mad at me, but I have lived in California all my life. Never heard of a girl being called DUDE. I don't believe it's one of those unisex terms.
O.K. I'll go back to my soy burgers, seaweed sandwiches, Napa wine and just shut up now. SURFS UP!

If you are getting hit this much, that the Imigran jabs are not enough go back to your GP and be more assertive with them.
Tell them you are in big trouble with the pain and you cannot take more Imigran because it is dangerous to take too much.
THEN MAKE THEM GET THEIR BNF OFF THE SHELF AND LOOK UP THE TREATMENTS FOR CH!!!
In there they will see 02 as one of the standard treatments recommended for CH.
Usually the only reason GP's won't is that either they have never heard of it (BNF will sort that problem out) or they say it is too expensive- in which case tell them it is unethical to withhold treatment on the NHS on the grounds of cost, and if they do so, you will make a complaint.

Don't take no for an answer, and don't make them usher you out without the RIGHT 02 prescription.

Will be on the phone first thing in the morning for an appointment with GP and also with neuro`s secretary to see if I can be seen sooner. Cannot stick these as my kids are suffering from this with me being in pain and am as grouchy as hell. [smiley=bomb.gif] a ticking bomb waiting to go off.
