I am on 720 mg verapamil and 450mg Lithium. I have been pain free since Dec 21st. I was having a really rough time before then.

Real good to hear Jayne, and inspiring (must be the exclaimation points). I am going to look into that combo with my next alteration later this month. My last two "visits" have been stretching my tolerance level to "KNOCK IT OFF ALREADY, please." Too much life I'm passing on.

Very happy to hear your cocktail's working! :)

After having tried verapamil and then depakote with no results whatsoever, I asked my neuro to put me on lithium, and it's been a God-send....only a handful of HA's in nearly 3 months!!

My dosage is 300mg daily....

hey eb what is your verapamil dosage. I assume the 300mg was the lithium?

I'm only taking lithium....

I had tried verapamil first (got up to 360mg daily), and then tried depakote (can't remember how much I was taking of that). Neither med helped one bit. For nearly a year the only relief I had was when I was taking a prednisone burst (did that 3 times...).

After joining and reading as much as I could here, I decided to try lithium. If that didn't work, I think I would've asked to take both lithium and verapamil since it seems to be a concoction that works well....

Lithium (600mg) & Verap (480 mg) a day is working wonders for me too! Just throw in an Imitrex shot here & there & I'm good to go.
Befor that it's been 3-4 years of nightly hell....

Now if I could only get Roxy to try it....

I take 300-600 mg when I'm "in cycle"
