Just wanted to share these with the rest of you. I wrote these poems the day I made the prayer request for Paul.

Life Sentenced
Knees hit the floor
A heart so full of passion
Beaten down merciless
Life sentenced perdition
I wish there were a band-aid
To heal your tired head
I wish I could have been there
All those nights you screamed and pled

Take These Tears
Take these tears
I know your pain
When you’re down
Just call my name
Together we will fight
Together we will cry
Forever we will win
Forever we get by
Hands of friendship
Will carry you through
In times of hardship
I’m right beside you
