Three blondes wanted to become detectives. The examining office told them, "To test your powers of observation, I will show you each a picture for five seconds. You will then tell me how you would recognize him." The first blonde said, "Oh, that's easy. He only has one eye!" The policeman said, "Well, uh, that's because the picture is a profile." Flustered by her ridiculous response, he showed the picture to the second blonde and asked, "This is your suspect, how would you recognize him?" The second blonde giggled, flipped her hair and said, "Silly! He only has one ear!" "What's the matter with you two?" yells the cop. "Of course you can only see one eye and one ear. It's his profile!" Extremely frustrated, he shows the picture to the third blonde and, in a very disgusted voice asked, "This is your suspect, how would you recognize him? And think before you give me some stupid answer!" The blonde looked at the picture and immediately said, "This suspect wears contact lenses." The policeman was taken aback. He didn't know if the suspect wore contacts or not. "Wait here. I'll check his file and be right back." He was gone a few minutes and returned with a smile on his face. "It's TRUE! The suspect does indeed wear contact lenses. How were you able to make such an astute observation?" "Easy," said the blonde. "Regular glasses would fall off his head 'cause he's only got one ear and one eye!"
