Title: Love Post by AlienSpaceBabe on Apr 28th, 2002, 8:03pm Guy: Phyllis, I love you! I love you, Phyllis! Gal: In the first place, you don't love me; and in the second place, my name isn't Phyllis! Becky: Do you love me with all your heart and soul? Dave: Uh-huh. Becky: Do you think I'm the most beautiful girl in the world? Dave: Uh-huh. Becky: Do you think my lips are like rose petals? Dave: Uh-huh. Becky: Oh, you say the most beautiful things. Better to have loved a short man than never to have loved a tall. Love may not make the world spin around, but it certainly makes a lot of people dizzy. Here's to love -- the only fire for which there is no insurance. A kiss is a peculiar proposition -- of no use to one, yet absolute bliss to two. The small boy gets it for nothing, the young man has to lie for it, and the old man has to buy it. It is the baby's right, the lover's privilege, and the hypocrite's mask. To a young firl, it shows faith; to a married woman, hope; and to an old maid, charity. Girl: Do you love me? Boy: Yes, Dear. Girl: Would you die for me? Boy: No -- mine is an undying love. He: I love you terribly. She: You certainly do. Love may be blind, but it seems to be able to find its way around in the dark. Love is said to be blind, but I know lots of fellows who can see twice as much in their sweethearts as I can. Love is sometimes like a poisoned mushroom. You can't tell if it's the real thing until it's too late. |

Title: Re: Love and music Post by Elizabeth on Apr 28th, 2002, 8:30pm What does a musician do when he farts? He tunes it. What do two musicians do when they fart? Play a duet He was escorting his wife to a concert and they arrived late. "What are they playing," he whispered to his neighbor. "The Fifth Symphony," replied the man. "Well, thank goodness," sighed the husband. "I've missed four of them anyway." Notice in the church bulletin: Mrs Smith will sink two numbers. She will be accompanied by the choir. "Are you fond of music?" "Yes, but keep right on playing." |
