Title: Serious roadblock -I think I need to go on TDI Post by inyoureye on Nov 5th, 2004, 10:28am I am a UPS driver and I've had CH's for about 18 yrs. I have always been able to manage thembut this cycle seems to be longer and stronger than any before. I have missed 8 of the last 14 work days, sick days are long gone and my management team is at their wits end with me. I have an appointment for monday (another day of no pay) to see new neuro and wondered how TDI (temp disability ins) works for CH suffers. It's not like I have a broken leg and can show an x-ray of my bone. The only thing that would show I'm probably not "faking" it would be my history since 1985 with the neuros. Yes, UPS would assume I'm faking it, they are unbelievably heartless like that sometimes. Anyway, is there a process involved in putting in a disability claim for CH? |
