I have had CHs for over 8 years now. I have been properly treated for CHs for 2 years now. The best advice I can give anyone with these things is: Find a doctor that's is willing to do everything and try everything he can to help you. I've seen probably at least 15 different doctors, 6 of them being neurologists. I finally found one that was willing to say, "I don't know, but I promise I will try my best to help you." He called other doctors, headache clinics, (ones my insurance wouldn't cover), and after talking to a neurologist in Hershey, PA, who specializes in the treatment of CHs, we found a combination of preventative drugs (High doses of Verapamil ,high doses of Indocin and Imitrex when I have one) that works for me. Don't settle for a neurologist, who only knows about seizures and Alzheimers, like I did for 6 years. You deserve better help.

If I hit this Powerball on Saturday, I'll advocate for money for CH research. [smiley=laugh.gif]

I'd sure like to hit the Power Ball jackpot. But, I can't.

I live in a state that does not allow it...........Nevada.

That is really funny! Yes yo all kinds of casinos and brothels, but a big no to powerball! Irony is fantastic.
