Title: Beast trying to sneak back in. Post by EmpressJMB on Oct 1st, 2004, 10:13am Shadows have been steadily increasing. I see my neuro on Oct. 14th. I'm wondering if it would be wise/unwise to up the Verapamil til I see him. I'm terrified it will come back. This time of year has always been the worst of my cycles. :'( Janet |

Title: Re: Beast trying to sneak back in. Post by Superpain on Oct 1st, 2004, 4:12pm It's also a great idea to call the neuro's office every morning and see if there are any cancellations so you can get in quicker. I guarantee there will be at least a few cancellations before your appt. |

Title: Re: Beast trying to sneak back in. Post by Kris_in_SJ on Oct 1st, 2004, 8:00pm I've been known to up my own Verapamil til seeing the doc, but have never gone over 480 mg/day on my own. Don't know what dose you're on, but if it's less than 480, you're probably safe increasing a little to see if it gets you through the weekend more comfortably. I'd sure be calling the nurse on Monday, if the shadows are still increasing, though. Hugs, Kris |
