Title: Weather Affected Post by sailpappy on Sep 4th, 2004, 11:53pm ;;DMan Oh Man!! ;;D Does the barometric pressure bouncing around and storms brewing increase the frequency of anyone elses attacks. I knew this hurricane was coming a week ago and I have been having 10 plus attacks a day. Pretty normal for me, how about the other Floridians??? Pappy |

Title: Re: Weather Affected Post by floridian on Sep 5th, 2004, 8:08am My cycles are closely tied to the calendar. Haven't noticed a barometric affect, but haven't really looked before. Not in cycle now. |

Title: Re: Weather Affected Post by IndianaJohn on Sep 5th, 2004, 11:30am Haven't noticed any barometric link in my cycles or HA's. Seems to be seasonal in nature. |

Title: Re: Weather Affected Post by Biker on Sep 6th, 2004, 8:16am Yes--------I have discovered when the barometric pressure gets low, I get CH. Usually proceeding a storm, then during the storms. |

Title: Re: Weather Affected Post by jmorgan52 on Sep 6th, 2004, 9:48am Hi Sailpappy - where have you been this past few years! Hopefully some PF time but now you're back on the board so that's bad news for you I guess. Years ago I was convinced that air pressure, climate, seasons and the like were the cause of my CH, but now I'm not so sure. Although when I'm in cycle bad weather does seem to make them worse. Hoep you get a break soon. John |

For me it's right at the point when any front moves near. Before the real weather change.... sometimes as litte as increased shadows for a day or two, sometimes more hits than normal. But once the storm is in....head clears up nicely.... that, I know plays a part in loving storms so damn much. Feel so good I just want to........... ........well nevermind. :-[ |

Title: Re: Weather Affected Post by alleyoop on Sep 7th, 2004, 7:43am Hey Sailpappy, You may be on to something! I live in the southern subburbs of Atlanta and as Frances approached us yesterday(winds getting up, light rain), I got hit hard(10+). My first thought was barometric pressure but since I have been doing some detoxing on my meds lately, I can't attribute it completely to pressure. Definitely something to think about! ....................................alley [smiley=huh.gif] |
