Title: Vision Question
Post by crazy_mj on Aug 30th, 2004, 4:36pm
Okay, this may seem crazy, but I have been wondering about this for awhile.  Around last February, at the beginning of this so called cycle, I went to an eye doctor. (That was before I was diagnosed with clusters and was looking for answers to to the constant misery.)
To make a long story short, I was sent home with a nice new pair of glasses and was told that I was near-sighted. It was also mentioned that the nerves in and around my eyes were closer than most people.
Anyway, now that I am seeing a neurologist and taken meds I notice that I only really need the glasses when the shadows or clusters are out and about.  I have perfect vision on my good days.

Does this sound familar to anyone else????

Really bad vision - in or out of cycle.  Can't help with this one!

Some people might have visual disturbances...making vision worse or problematic..with HA's

Yours got better?! Maybe restored is a better word.

That's  amazing!

Is it because you are having more good days and the conditions of when you got the glasses don't exist anymore?

I hope so!

PF wishes for you.

I've had some really cool visual disturbances during the peaks of CH cycles.  double vision... not side to side, but up and down, so with my already side to side double vision, I had quad vision, like a fly.

The other one was that the center of my visual field would just go weird.  Like watching people talk... the mouths were just all over the place... I couldn't read street signs, they looked like they were Chinese...

But after the headaches went away, the vision returned to normal.

phew
