Title: Shadows
Post by Tom K on Aug 24th, 2004, 2:29pm
Had 3 super monster Beasts yesterday, had to leave work on the first day of school and everything.  Nothing worked, not Trex inject, Trex NS, 02, nothing.  Finally passed out around 6:30PM and slept through the night, woohoo.  Today, shadows all day.  Afraid to shoot the Trex, don't want it to not work and lose faith in the Trex.  The big fun of it all is that I had hernia surgery last week and go general anestia (or how ever it is spelled).  Don't know if that started this cycle or not, but it is something to blame it on.  God, I hate these damn things!!!  This cycle starts year 21 with them and just when you think you are going to have a PF year...wammo!  Thanks for listening to me ramble, gonna hit the 02 for a bit and see what that does.

It's been about 4 hours since you posted. Did/is the O2 helping with the shadows? Sure hope so.

There has been mention of anestia (I don't know how to spell it either) triggering a cycle.

Just so I can try to agree with people, does your shadows include a regular headache feeling, extreme tightness in your neck, and the starting of the pain behind your eye?  I only ask because thats what mine do.

my left eye is always the eye that is the one i want to cut out of my head, and its always behind my left ear that is extremely sensitive.  Ive learned to not rub my head during them, cuz wow, that makes it worse.

Quick update, 02 is my friend as aways!  Shadow pretty much went away after about 10 minutes and go some sleep.  Apria just left 3 new M tanks and 6 E tanks so I can take it to work now, too.  I love 02!!!  Yes, my shadow is like yours, I fought the thing all day, I know my CH respond to the Trex, but I always feel like if I use too much this might be the time it doesn't work.

I don't really know how much it cost.  I only have to pay my $15 copay.  Work offered a kickass insurance plan last time around, I can fill as much Trex as I need and my 02 is cheap.  For all the tanks and new reg I got for the E tanks, it was $15.  I am in a PPO through work, so I pay a little more each paycheck but it is well worth it.
