Title: No Question - No Answer?
Post by LadyLuv on Aug 5th, 2004, 6:10pm
:'(I don't have a question and God knows I don't have any answers... I've been cycle free for three months - and last weekend it started all over again.  I missed a lot of time at work this week because my cycle have changed... I've suffered with clusters for over 25 years and they have always hit me in the wee hours of morning.. During the last cycle I slept sitting up on the couch for several days, because  someone told me that if I didn't relax and get comfortable, maybe they wouldn't peak - WRONG - the person told me, but forgot to tell my CH.. This week I have peaked atleasted twice each day and several times have been during the middle of the day.  God, I am so tired... I'm on a Verapamil- 800mg regiment and take Imitrex Injections when my insurance company will purchase them.
:-/ :-[  I would alway try to stay awake when I'm in a cycle because I knew that the devil would hit once I went  to sleep - now I don't even have that option, because they're day and night...
Please Pray for me as I do and shall continue to do for all of you... I just don't know how much more of these painful CH's I can take, I just don't know..

Peace & Blessings
Lady Luv

Sorry to hear you've joined the ranks. I get them day and night too. There is little break time.

You are not alone.

Dear Lady, I am so sorry you have to be here.  I will say a prayer for our and hope things can get better.  Little power naps help sometimes, just make sure they don't go over 20 minutes.

Pulling for ya!

Welcome LadyLuv,

Sorry to hear you're getting hit at all times of the day & night. The beast loves playing tricks on you. Don't let your gaurd down and be ready at ALL times. As Superpain asked, if you have not tried 02 you should definately pursue it. Saves on the at-home attacks lots of times. Info is to the left of this page if you need it. PF Vibes headed your way.

So sorry you're suffering!  Definitely look into the O2 - could be a life (and job) saver for you.

Also, even though sleep can bring on a HA, many people swear by Melatonin.  It helps raise the Seratonin levels in your brain (which clusterheads seem to be short of - Seratonin, not brains, that is).  It also helps to disrupt REM sleep patterns.  Many CH's occur during REM times.

Each of us is different, but it's cheap, non-prescription and certainly can't hurt!

Hugs and many wishes for PFDAN!

Kris
