Hi all. I'm new to this board, but not new to the Beast. Suffering since 25 (I'm now 36). After a two year hiatus, they're back!

Because, you know, I just missed them soooooo much...

I do have a question:

Occasionally during an attack, my hands go numb with the muscles contracting so much that I cannot move my hands. My fingers are stuck straight out (do this: with your fingers straight, touch all the tips of your fingers together and curl your wrist so that your fingers are almost touching your forearm, and you'll know what it looks like).

This continues for about 10 minutes.

Does anyone else have this with an attack? I am terrified that one day these bastard clusters will cause a stroke.

That is utterly and completley NOT GOOD. Everyone has the same "symptoms" pretty much as tearing of the eye, screaming, etc but I've had some that aren't in the usual textbook, like bleeding heavily from the eye and nose and severe shortness of breath. These things I am sure can damage the brain if not send you into shock...so see your neuro asap!!!

every doctor I have spoken to regarding this has dismissed this issue.

However, I will push this during my next visit. Thanks for the help.
