hello i got cluster headaches 10 years ago and was given beta blockers which worked never got another headache till 5 weeks ago get them between 4.30 am and 11.00am every day going to doctors tommorow 3/6/04 will post on here what he says hopes it helps

Hi OLLY,

Beta blockers do hardly ever anything for clusters.

Verapamil work for many here. Five years is a long time sorry your pain free time ended.

Got to asked did you take the beta blockers just durring cycle or have you taken them the whole five years?

took beta blockers for 8 weeks then headache free till 5 weeks ago

I'm confused...I understand your first post to mean you took inderal 10 years ago. Were you in remission for the last 10 years? Was the episode 10 years ago your first episode?

sorry to confuse you im not good with comps......yes first time was 10 years ago had some bouts since them but controlable but they have now come back worse than ever
